St Michael & All Angels Church Hall
Most Sunday evenings, we meet at St Michael & All Angels Church Hall, on the corner of Bath Road and The Avenue, Chiswick, London W4 1TX.
On a Sunday evening, parking is free and visitors can park in residents’ bays.
Tube & Buses
The hall is very close to Turnham Green Tube Station and buses E3 (Greenford to Chiswick), 94 (Acton Green to Shepherd’s Bush) and 272 (Chiswick Railway Station to Shepherd’s Bush) all pass Turnham Green Station.
Directions from Turnham Green station to the Hall
Turn RIGHT out of Turnham Green tube station (District Line) and walk a few metres up to the mini roundabout at Bath Road/The Avenue. There is a zebra crossing in front of you: cross the road and continue onwards, following the path immediately in front of you through the trees - the church is now to your right - until you reach the white ornate gates in front of the church hall.
Note: the church hall faces the park on your left. Go through the white gates, turn to your left, through the double doors and upstairs to the hall.
About the hall
The hall is an attractive room with a splendid sprung wooden floor, which makes it ideal for dancing.
For those interested in history, the hall is a Grade II listed building and was designed by the architect Norman Shaw who was the Estate Architect for the Bedford Park Estate. It was built in the Queen Anne revival style and was completed in 1879.
Occasionally, when St Michael's is not available, we dance at the Catholic Centre, 2 Dukes Avenue, Chiswick, London W4 2AE. See the Club Calendar to check the venue for each date.
